djouzazemihi 's review for:
A Broken Blade
by Melissa Blair
The brautiful cover instantly attracted me, and you know, every book that has an assassin in it is a must read.
The book was nice . I mean it would've been greater if it was a little bit longer, and if we got a little more of the world building.
Keera was an interesting character , but all we get about her is that she is an assassin ( the king's blade) that has a very tragic backstory ( we know so little about this backstory) . What bothered me is that we don't get to know more about Riven and the other characters but i guess it's normal since it's only the first book of a serie. The second book seems promising.
And for the writing it was great, especially since it was the firat book of the author .
It's a 3,5 stars read for me. Could've been more if it was longer.
