I Survived the Sinking of the Titanic, 1912: The Graphic Novel by Georgia Ball, Lauren Tarshis

5.0

This was the first I Survived book I have read – and, naturally, given my fascination with Titanic, it was this one. Not only did I enjoy the story, I found it a really good introduction to an intriguing bit of history. Because it is in graphic novel form, it is bound to be more accessible for those who prefer the graphic format, find themselves reluctant to read, or are a struggling reader.

After the main story, the book included two pages of Titanic facts, two pages about real-life passengers, one page on finding the sunken ship, a selected bibliography, and a list of other books about the Titanic.
