Little Women
by Louisa May Alcott
4 stars
this book was…oh boy…it destroyed me. there were so many lines that were so beautiful. louisa may alcott is an incredible author and i aspire to be like her.
i skimmed quite a few parts, and also straight up skipped certain chapters because they were so boring. i especially could not stand meg’s chapters in the second part. meg just,,, bored me.
i loved all the other characters though, and i’m hoping to read the sequels in a few months (at the moment i need a break from the march sisters).
also?? i no longer ship jo and laurie. i finally understand why amy and laurie ended up together. they’re so much more fitting for each other.
anywayssss though, this was a lovely book and while it’s not the best thing i’ve read, it was still a wonderful read.
