while it started a little slow, the rest of the book FLEW by and i enjoyed it easily as much if not more than the first. what a solid duology i loved every second
there is something about this writing that made me get lost in the pages in a way so few books have for me recently, i felt so cozy the whole time
the plot was always pushing and the characters were so sweet and their relationships make this whole book. every pov was interesting and the mysteries to be solved might have been mildly predictable but i just let the story carry me. if i had to say anything negative it is that the ending felt a bit swift and a few things forgotten about, but nothing that upsets me at all about it
