this was so so heartbreaking to read. prachi gupta’s raw and gut-wrenching narration has left me with a stabbing pain in my heart and i’m not quite sure if i will ever be the same. this is the most complex and well nuanced take on the indian american experience so far and while only small parts of it were relatable to me personally, i feel her pain on another level because i fully understand where she’s coming from.
