I really wanted to like this more than I did….
1. This book is BRUTAL. And I assumed it would be, but each chapter was borderline painful to read because of how detailed the descriptions of farming and experimentation was on the “heads”.
2. I felt like every time they were exploring how Marcos felt about everything going on around him, we barely scratched the surface before moving on to more horrors
3. The ending was so random to me??? It came out of left field in my opinion. Maybe that’s just me.
