2.5 I really struggled with this book. I honestly don’t know why, maybe it was the book, maybe it was me but I just never really got into the story. At first it just felt a little too much like Narnia and I just had a hard time picking this book up. Although the ending was really great, I think the grandfather was my favourite character and his explanations for the existence of Roar were really a good closure for this story, I don’t think I will pick the sequel up.
