I DID IT! I finally read this HUGE blindspot in my fantasy literature/sword and sorcery fiction reading and folks this lives up to the hype! If you are looking for some weird and brooding sword and sorcery fiction that isn't 1000 pages long, isn't overly edge-lordly, and above all is very well written, look no further!

It really is wild reading this now for the first time in the year 2024 and seeing how much of "dark fantasy" fiction owes and straight up steals from this book but here it might be at its peak for what Moorcock is trying to go for!

I honestly can not wait to read more of this series in the new future!
