Haunted By Obsession by Maryam Alam
Did not finish book. Stopped at 80%.

I received this book as an ARC, but I regret to say that I couldn't finish it and DNFed at about 80%
"Haunted by Obsession" is told from a dual point of view, the main female character (MFC) and the main male character (MMC), who are competitors in the business world, though in different fields. The story follows how one becomes obsessed with the other.
Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the book, mostly due to the writing and its inconsistencies. For example, it is stated at the beginning that the MFC and MMC have never met or seen each other before; however, later on, it is implied that they have seen each other and are rivals. Also, some character names change throughout the book. And the overuse of the words 'obsession' and 'possesiv'.
I believe that the story had potential, and if it hadn't been rushed, as the author mentions in a review, it could have turned out to be a much better read.
