Beautiful feel to the book, the descriptions made me feel like I was sitting on the garden bench enjoying the shrubbery as the sun light gently hit my face and the worst thing I had to worry about was why my cousin lent my horse to his girlfriend. The ending felt rushed as many books do from this time (big drama is over and they all lived happily or sadly ever after written in 10 pages) and a lot of the characters seemed to do out of character things, apart from Fanny of course who got everything she wanted!
