The Stonecutter by Camilla Läckberg

4.0

I get it. Camilla Läckberg hates fat women. Can we fricking move on already. I am really sick of it.

Besides this, this was probably the tightest and best of the Patrik Hedström novels so far. Which I was very, very happy for. I've always thought these books have potential, but it's taken a while to hit it's stride. There were a good amount of twists and misdirects in this one. It was exactly what I needed for a holiday read.

Besides the lead complaint, it is obvious that Läckberg just learnt what autism, Aspergers, and a condition called DAMP which I never have come across in an Australian context (we split it out into several other disorders) are. Which dates the book, and I would say dated the author even when it was written. So as long as you don't mind some lectures in there, its a decent read.
