Embry ‣ Mateo

….

“Eyes the colour of storm clouds met mine. The world shifted on its axis, and in that moment, every fucking part of me knew it’d never shift back.”

.

“Brother means family, Mats. Till the end. And we ride out for family no matter what.”

….

This series is quickly becoming my whole personality. No regrets. Trillion stars once again. And inhale - he calls him cielito ♾️.

The dance between, the patience and fight for understanding. The hurt/comfort. I will protect them at all cost. Like in the previous books - in between the suspense and action - I got all that’s best, you just feel it in your bones. They have my whole heart. The more I venture into this world, the more I want to stay and join them.

Ps. Yes. Baby Saint (“On top of his own legit superpowers, he was the worst combination of Alexei’s intelligence and Cam’s empathy. If I fucked up, he’d see it. And Saint . . . he was unpredictable.”)

Rubi and River are next. I feel like I waited an eternity. They will close and open the year with me - I wouldn’t want it any other way.

♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️.

“That no comfort I ever sought from anyone else could stand beside what he gave me without even trying.” // “…knowing with every mile my bike devoured that Mateo was a heartbeat behind me.” // “Embry had a smile like the full moon, wolfish and beautiful.” // “Forever and a day, it would always be him.” // “You smell of my favourite things.” // “…because maybe it wasn’t violence that would heal me for good.” - “Maybe it was love.” // “He was right there, beautiful tension saturating the air around us.” // “Forty. Sixty-six. Twenty-nine.” // “I wanted it to rain. I wanted thunder and lightning to lash the night sky so I felt some harmony with Mother Nature, because right now, my whole life felt like a cruel trick.” // “His kiss was life, and I was drowning.” // “I need you to be honest. Or these moments we spend alone together can’t happen anymore.” // “It’s always been enough.” // “Loving you isn’t that complicated.”
