I'm rating it a 2.5 but rounding down because I feel more towards like "meh" side than "liking" it side. The book was extremely slow, I felt like it was never going to end, and it would keep dragging on. I hated Xifeng, and not because she was an antihero or because she did bad things, I just found her incredibly annoying. I also felt like the book was predictable... Like nothing took me by surprise, even the "plot twists" because everything was heavily foreshadowed or like IN YOUR FACE. The writing is done really well, I just didn't take a liking to the story or characters.
