Doctor Heartless by J. Saman
5.0
I love Landon and Elle’s story so much. It had spice, it was swoony and it had some emotion to it when it came to Landon and Elle’s pasts.
Landon is a doctor, a billionaire, a widow, and a single father. After losing his wife tragically he has been closed off when it comes to relationships and love, with the exception of his daughter Stella and his family. Elle is new to town after leaving an abusive marriage and looking to start fresh and move on from her past. Landon and Elle cross paths one night in a hotel bar and it was only supposed to be a single night, however, things don’t always work out how they want.
The moment they meet there is a ton of chemistry between Landon and Elle. Even after they meet again and realize they are neighbors there is still so much chemistry under those layers of dislike. I love how they push each other. I love how they have gone through something similar and were able to have some sort of understanding how the other is feeling at times.
I loved the bond that Elle and Stella formed. It was so much fun and loving. Elle never once tried to replace Stella’s mother, but she was there for her in a way that her father couldn’t be at times. Plus, I loved their shared love for gardening and cooking.
If you’re looking for a single dad, enemies to lovers romance this is one to check out.
