This book follows Vasilisa Petrova (daughter of Nina and Roman from PI series!!) and Raphael De Santi. Now, our girl Vasilisa is secretly an expert hacker (girl has hacked NASA, what an icon) and she seems to have hacked into Raphael De Santi's system which sets him off so he sends people to capture this little hacker, believing it's a guy... until he sees it's a girl and then this guy just falls head over heels for Vasilisa and fuck me it's a hot as fuck story...
Overall, I ate this up so hard. Say what you want this author does my silly little mafia stories so well. I was giggling and shit and my jaw was dropping (among other things hehehe)🤭. The characters were so fun to read and the tension and angst was so freaking DELICIOUS I was yelling at the screen for this to kiss and fuck already 😭😭. Like I shit you not this man is the hottest thing I've come across lately- the way he was so pathetically in love with her and DOWN BAD FRFR and like UGHHH.
Raphael seemed like a BTEC Mikhail Orlov with his facial scars and insecurities- bro was so tortured but Mikhail is forever my tortured king- the MF was the sweetest thing in existence but Raphael? Meehhhh not so sweet but we still love him (the red flags were showing in this one). But IDC because Raphael and Vasilisa (who is just like her mom BTW) were hoooottt asssss ffffffuuuucccckkkkk like even after they shagged and there were mentions of them shagging day and night I felt so left out- I'M NOT EVEN SOMEONE WHO LIKES LOADS OF SMUT BUT FOR THEM I DO. Ugh.
They were so hot. He was so pathetic for her. He literally- ARGHHHHH. Just read the book, you won't regret it. It gives me wattpad nostalgia too ugh- I'm just gonna die. I keep thinking about how hot this mf is then just lying on the floor. I shit u, not he's the phattest simp in existence (dark romance edition).
A minor criticism is that while they were both hot as fuck, they didn't strike me as uniquely built characters. Not memorable like Nina, Mikhail, Roman, Milene, Bianca, Salvatore, Sergei etc.
