Looking for Alaska
by John Green
Looking for Alaska is not a novel for me. Don't get me wrong John Green is an amazing author but this book was lacking something. I feel as though John was in need of a new book a just threw this together. At the beginning it seemed like it had potential but once I found out-SPOILER ALERT!!!!- Alaska died I found that Pudge was just moping around. If you're reading this and you think 'no he got over it' then you're probably right. Let's just have a little talk about the characters. Alaska was wild carefree and reckless but not in a good way. I found that when Alaska went down she dragged everyone down with her. Pudge was an okay character. He was kind of plain to say. The Colonel was probably my favourite character. He was funny and kind of rude but in a 'I wish I had balls like that' kind of way. Overall I would say that this book was lacking something. Well have a great life ladies and gents.
