The Perfect Mistake by Olivia Hayle
4.0

Happy Pub Week to Olivia Hayle and The Perfect Mistake! I read this one JUST in time.

Isabel is a professional dancer who has been sidelined by a potentially career-ending injury. He’s a single dad with kids who go through nannies like water. His sister intervenes to suggest Isabel fill in while she recovers. Only trouble is that they’ve both been attracted to each other for years.

I love Bookstagram. It’s helped me find some of the most delightful smut - including The Perfect Mistake by Olivia Hayle. I happened to find it as she was offering digital ARCs and she generously sent me one. Hayle does a great job of building tension (which is absolutely my jam), and the story is still sweet, with good characters, and a strong narrative. While Best Enemies Forever is technically the first book in the series, she writes her books to be connected standalones, which I appreciate. I’ve added Olivia to my must-stock-at-the-store list, and we will have Best Enemies Forever and the Perfect Mistake just as soon as the shipment arrives.
