Crystal is a curvy fitness influencer sharing her body positive message on social media, where she has a pretty big following. When she encounters a man who steals her favorite squat rack she immediately determines him to be a nemesis. My biggest issue with this book was the beginning when they meet, it brings a slew of childish snippy interactions. It makes them both pretty unlikeable to me and I really wanted to abandon it, which I did for two days to read book 2
Scott her rack thief actually redeems himself and you see his really sweet side, and he really proves to her in little ways how much he really likes her.
A photo of them together brings some hateful trolls which makes her question her message of body positivity when she can't drown out the doubts.
The beginning really annoyed me but I am glad the second half of the book picked up but couldn't overshadow how much I disliked the first half.
