I wish JKR weren't such a turd because this is just as magical and whimsical and warm as ever. she's really sullied her own legacy. that said I did knock the rating down a bit for the fatphobia, which just gets more egregious each time I reread this series.
Graphic: Body shaming, Bullying, Child abuse, Confinement, and Fatphobia
Moderate: Animal death, Violence, Grief, Death of parent, and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Vomit, Medical content, and Alcohol
Animal death of a mythical creature. And listen, eating a vomit-flavored Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Bean was one of the most disgusting things that's ever happened to me so I'm counting it as a content warning!!!
