It was fun to read one of the books that inspired Dr Dolittle the movie. It is creatively written and I love the grandioseness of the storyline. As a child I would have been delighted to read about a man who had learned the languages that different animals speak and how that helped him along in his adventures. It was delightful as well to read it as an adult.
