Excellent! I liked hearing from the artificial friends perspective. Interesting to see life from an outside perspective. So many interesting themes too. What is love, what is life, how does faith begin, do souls exist. While the story is relatively light, the themes are definitely not simple questions. Ishiguro isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. The book does unfold slowly. But I’ve enjoyed his writing style & how he develops such interesting questions!

my favorite quote is the summation of Klara’s learning about the human experience.
Mr Capaldi believed there was nothing special inside Josie that couldn’t be continued. … I believe now he was searching in the wrong place. There was something very special, but it wasn’t inside Josie. It was inside those who loved her.
