Finishing my re-read of the series before passing my hardcovers on to my brother-in-law.
I like this better the second time around. I think on second read Sanderson handles the characters and the overall plot arcs well, and maintains the worldbuilding, he just feels like he's really dropping the ball/leaving a lot of detail out when it comes to the magic system? And it all does feel a little rushed along than Jordan's work...though that's probably a net neutral given that Jordan does drag things out too much at times.
