This book was recommended because I enjoyed Daisy and the Six and the movie, Almost Famous. It definitely fits the bill for similar plots, if you enjoyed those! It is a coming of age story in the 1970s. I am not sure I agree with the YA rating of the book. YA is for ages 12-18 and I wouldn’t be comfortable with my 15 year old reading it just yet. I, however, did enjoy the book!
