The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager
3.5
mysterious medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

I don't know if it was the summer camp setting or the fact that the events felt quite tame to me, but this read very much like a Point Horror for adults.

There's a lot of talking around what happened fifteen years ago at Camp Nightingale, and clues are doled out slowly. Things that happen in the camp feel sinister, but not so much that I felt Emma was in grave danger throughout most of the book. There's plenty of atmosphere, but the plot moved along slowly and it just wasn't thrilling enough for me.
