This book was moving, poetic, simply beautiful. This coming of age story was told in several short vignettes, while however brief still painted a rich, full picture of her relations to her family, friends, neighbors, neighborhood, and home. I got weepy at the end. It's a super quick read. I read it on my flight during the times when we couldn't use our approved electronic devices. I may read it again soon when I can read it through with no interruptions.
