A bodyguard is hired to protect his ex-fiancée amidst stalking threats. He's carefree, charming and very misunderstood (I *really* felt for him); she's fierce and overly stubborn. Neither of them are happy with the situation, and there's chemistry and fighting galore. The close proximity of hiding away stirs up old feelings, which are then quickly reignited.

Their self denial aside, their love has always been there and it's shown through mutual pining and some tender moments. He shows his real self to her - protective and caring, though his forced immaturity and some decisions he made were dumb. Also, he should've been more honest about the past earlier. But overall it's a fun read, with steam and suspense, and heartfelt moments, but I needed more to the HEA!
