I love Sue's thoughtful approach to writing about this topic that has ultimately consumed her life. It was also interesting to learn about Dylan Klebold other than his horrifying last act. We want to believe that people who murder are somehow different than all of us, but Klebold brings us gently to the reality that people are complex and multifaceted, and we don't always see what's happening under the surface, even with people we are close to.
