The House Swap

The House Swap was a 3 star read for me. It was cute and light read. I loved the color and the idea of the characters meeting through house swapping. Super cute idea and I definitely felt the cozy vibes as I read this and enjoyed the differences between the two main characters and found it entertaining on how different people live. I do love the enemies to lovers trope. However, that being said, I just couldn't really believe that James could so abruptly change personality-wise into someone that gets along with everybody and becoming such a nice person that everyone loves. I also had a hard time connecting with the two characters. There was also the serious topic of IVF and struggling to have a baby and although I liked the idea of this being in the story, I think it was executed poorly and could've been introduced a bit more smoothly. I was definitely confused in the beginning of was she pregnant before and how did she get pregnant before - boyfriend or previous IVF? But again, I think the overall idea for the story was cute.
