I remember this being one of the first horror books I ever laid my hands on, and it was such a gripping experience that I could hardly put it down! I usually enjoy reading books at night, particularly horror novels, because the stillness of the night makes it all the more enjoyable and creepy. However, while reading this particular book, I felt like I could hear things as if the events in the story were unfolding right before my eyes.

If you're new to the horror genre, I recommend this book. It's an incredibly captivating and spine-chilling read that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. Even in the dead of night, when every creak and groan takes on a sinister tone, this book will have you completely entranced with its story and characters. The author has done an excellent job of creating a dark and eerie atmosphere that keeps you hooked from the very first page.

This story was originally published on Reddit and has since been adapted into a published book, as well as an upcoming movie. I'm thrilled!
