I’m concerned that this actually happened to the author.
Seriously though, I overall enjoyed this book. I have recently been very turned off from thrillers lately, but this was more of a dark comedy rather than a typical twisty thriller, so I was able to stomach it. I thought it was a fun, quick read. I just felt that the different aspects of the story felt disjointed at times. The meta aspects of the novel felt a little strange (but also kind of funny). If you want a semi-trashy, silly read, this may be for you.
