Doctor Strange, Volume 2: The Last Days of Magic by Jason Aaron

3.0

Proto Gorr The God Butcher was kinda suffice level you get what you see. When strange had eyes he had MCU Trevor / Jack Sparrow energy. A few panels I looked at for like 5 minutes unable to figure out what was going on.

Some good concepts in a bubble (like the can’t eat human food or magic toll) bad to let them become semi permanent parts of the mythos which it seems like they haven’t other than a few passing references to the demon fringe etc.

Arron’s Avengers run was the first thing I read from him and it frustrated so much I don’t know if I’m actually meh about his writing or if lingering resentment is seeping in. Not an unbiased review is what I’m saying.
