(FIRST READ - Illustrated edition - 2017)
Sadly, I did not enjoy this book as much as I thought I would. I thought it would be full of emotion but its not. I thought the dialogue was dull but I did enjoy the story. I hope you enjoy this book more than me, I guess its just not my style.

(SECOND READ - Novel - 2022)
I have similar thoughts to my first review. The rating is the same, the dialogue was dull, but the story was enjoyable in that self-inflicting pain way. There was a bit of dialogue from his mom at the end that just made me tear up and resounded with me deeply. Besides my appreciation for this book being an accessible journey through the fear of grief and loss, I don't have much other feelings towards it.
