The characters were so strong in this, and the plot was quite exciting. I might check out the books on Nikolai at some point, but so far the ketterdam cast is head and shoulders above the Ravkan one

I also love all three romantic partnerships so much that I don’t even care about the cliche of them all falling for each other. Each relationship has such strong history and such a unique characterization to it that they all feel unique 

I still haven’t seen the shadow and bone series but I heard it does the six of crows plotlines as well and I hope it holds up!
