From Ashes by Molly McAdams

5.0

Cassidy has two men her life that she has ever trusted, her deceased father and Tyler, her best friend. Tyler and Cassidy have always been very close friends. So close that most people would mistake their relationship for something more then just friends. That is why Tyler packs all of Cassidy's things and takes her to Texas with him when he leaves California for college.

Right when Tyler and Cassidy get to Texas, Cassidy meets their new roommate, Gage. He is Tyler's cousin, and Cassidy is immediately drawn to him. Little does she know that Gage feels the same way. She also doesn't know that Tyler wants to be more then friends and he starts to lie to both Gage and Cassidy to keep them apart. Finally, Tyler does something that drives Cassidy to Gage for good. Cassidy does still have to face her past though, and for a short time had to leave Texas to deal with everything going on.

I can't believe how much I loved this book. I have read lots of love stories and stories of missing out on chances, but I have never read something so beautifully written. Molly McAdams just draws in her reader. She knows how to create the characters to keep people reading. This is her second book, and I didn't want to put it down. I am currently reading her first book, "Taking Chances." This book is also amazing so far! I recommend this author to anyone.
