I Know What You Did Last Supper by Darren Allan, Wayne Williams

4.0

I received this book through a Goodreads giveaway some time ago and just got around to reading it.
I thought the premise of this biblical background as a murder mystery was very clever. The story kept the suspense building and made you feel real emotions towards the protagonist. The torture and murder descriptions were vivid and brutal (not for the squeamish)and heightened the fear driven suspense. I was slightly let down upon the initial reveal of the murderer and thought it was a bit of a cop-out, however once more explanations were revealed, I felt the story wrapped itself up nicely. Not precisely a happy ending but gratifying none the less.
I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys murder mysteries, I would not however recommend this to anyone who was looking for a more pious read.
