emezia 's review for:
Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions
by Edwin A. Abbott
Really short book, but I decided to not finish it because
1: The book isn’t really telling a story, in my opinion it’s more like a research journal or something like that.
2: I know this book was written in 1880, but I feel like the way he talks about women in this book is just so messed up, for example, in so many words he said that it is hard to have good sex with the isosceles women because they are so thin, they have tiny brains and are too stupid to be creative in the bed, or be creative in any way.
After I read that, I was just done. They book was already boring me, and at that point, I didn’t want anymore effort into reading this book…
