YOUNG BLACK JOYOUS SUMMER LOVE✨🖤
omg I adored this! I could’ve devoured it in one setting but I didn’t want this to end! This reminded me of (a way better version of) the movies Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve where each character has their own thing going on but they’re all connected, one way or another.
Along with beautiful Black representation, there’s also some wonderful Queer representation!
In each short, interwoven story, I came to love and care about these characters and wanted so much MORE!! Like I’d read an entire book about each of these stories; they were just so brilliantly & beautifully executed. I felt dearly connected to these characters - they felt like family; like younger siblings or close friends and I ended each chapter with the biggest smile on my face.
This is one I’ll be picking up every summer just to relive and let the sparks fly again✨
