Spreading Joy: How Joyalukkas became the world favourite jeweller by Joy Alukkas

A beautiful book that I stumbled upon and ended up loving. It was like the second I was looking at this beauty and then the next I was already half-way through it.

It is an autobiography of Joy Alukkas, the founder and chairman of Joyalukkas jewelry. In this we read about a boy's journey from a small town of Kerala to become the founder of the world's most famous jewelry brand.

In this book you read about some of the insights into the industry that are very unorganized with an inspiring story of the chairman himself and his growth period which was committed to his customers. Each chapter of the book covers a very new aspect of the life and career of Joy Alukka and will provide you insights for his early life, family background, his struggle, and challenges. One interesting point of the book is about the way he describes his business and its revolutionary innovations such as the use of the first ever billing software etc.

Hats off to the author for writing such an engaging and well written book with a beautiful story telling style that is very entertaining and informative for us all. I usually don't read autobiographies but I enjoyed this one because it was interesting, hooking along with the photographs and illustrations that helps us imagine how his life might have been.

The book has a lucid language which is easy to understand and the plot will not let you get bored because of how engaging it is written. It covers the life of a person who did it all single handedly and changed the world of jewelry brands. The book tells how his business looks in even after the areas of ups-downs and facing many challenges for it

The journey of all the things, choices and information he took to keep the business afloat and still remain this same even after the years which was the customers favorite jewelry around the world with his own hard work, spirit and commitment.

It is a very interesting read for whoever wants to read more about entrepreneurship or the jewelry industry or even if just wants to read some inspiring story about how one goes from being a child from a small village to one of the world's leading brands. I would definitely recommend reading the book to everyone and especially to whoever thinks that they are even a drop less from anyone.
