The beginning was INCREDIBLE! Fast-paced vibes.
Sadly, for a very short novel, the rest of the book was slower paced, only picking up close to the end. I enjoyed the sister's complex dynamic, but also wish there was a bit more substance there.
I really enjoyed this book, and I think it'd work especially well as a very stylized movie from a visionary Nigerian female director, like Kemi Adetiba.
