So this story was easy enough to read, but I didn't love it by the time I was done. It was insta love and trope-y, but that doesn't usually bother me. I can't even pinpoint what it is, I just didn't mesh with this book. I found the angst factor to be a bit overwhelming. I did like the main character, Cash, but was just blah about his female lead, Paige. I have not read the other books from this Twilight, Texas companion series, but I could see that there were a lot of cameos from other book characters. I'm not sure if I would like her other books, but I may try one if I see it. It landed in my "what the f*ck" shelf because the sex scenes in this book were written weird. And not even in a fun way. haha
