It was.. good? But disappointing in that the summary combined with the handful of pages of content really made me wish it was a full blown book. A full blown book might rival Circe for me.

The summary really has to be taken as a prologue, other wise you have no idea of the motivation of the main character.

Solid 3, because it didn't feel very resolved. I didn't get time to really like the main character or even form the *much needed* emotional connection the author really wants us to have. The narrative, as normal, is beautiful and I really did find myself wanting an expanded version of this. More time with the characters. More plot, more impact.

It's also no way worth the $12 for the ebook version, imo. For a short story. Get it on sale. I'll all for supporting authors, but that's asking too much for what there is.
