This whole book is a miscommunication trope 😣 I wasn’t really happy about that, they didn’t tell each other how they felt or what had happened in their pasts. And whilst I loved the overall story and most of the characters (wasn’t a fan of Allie’s mum, Eva, Juniper or Caroline) I just felt something was missing with this one. I wanted a bit more chemistry, more of a relationship between them.
I felt like they never really got together, broke up then got back together again in the last chapter. I wanted more of their life together. I wanted to see the moment they decided to get married and them moving around for Hudson’s job etc.
I also found it a bit silly that Juniper needed saving from drowning twice, I feel like Juniper’s story overall overshadowed the love story.

I did love Hudson, aside from the miscommunication, he was a great MMC. And the spice was good. They both had very cool, interesting jobs that were fun to read about and I loved the dog 🙂
