Captive in the Underworld by Lianyu Tan

I hate Hades so much!

I mean after everything she done to Persephone how she dared still manage to make me root for her. For that I'll never forgive the goddess.

With that out of the way, I must confess I'm with the folk who isn't into this kind of story, the dark bit, not the gay part -this I love-, but I'll hand it to the author, because I actually enjoyed it and didn't feel as much dread as I usually do when reading books full of angst.

I'm not giving this a 5 sorely because I think Persephone's hate/love for Hades was a bit too easy/quick to let go, she was conflicted and hurt a lot of the time then suddenly she isn't anymore in the light of new events that I won't mention. It felt just a tiny tiny bit abrupt with all things considered. I'd think her ambivalence would take longer to go away. The other reason I didn't give a 5 was because Percy took too long to grow a spine and I'm not sure yet if it's made of bones or cartilage. I'd need another book or two to draw an opinion. So... Lianyu, can we get more? hahahha

Jokes apart, I definitely hope I can revisit them.
