I liked this story it was alright. The action part of this story was well done. Mac is a great agent and does his job very well as far as that part of this story goes. I even have to give credit to Emily who did not play the weak femme fatale and fought back when she needed to. Now here is where it went south for me. The so-called relationship never blossomed. It was more like we dislike each other but we are strongly attracted to each other and then we argue and say bad things to each other but yet we will have sex and then act like it didn't happen and then have sex again? From that point on, it was a series of strong attractions that Mac fought against because of his line of work, which is understandable but yet he would go ahead and lay claim to her at the same time. I was like what is happening here and poor Emily couldn't seem to make up her mind either. And the end? All of sudden there are together? It was weird and confusing and jumbled up in my opinion. It didn't seem to flow at all. The best part was the secondary characters from Falcon Security and the action that flowed. I will continue on with the series because I'm a sucker for these type of covert ops series. I know one character whose book I can't wait to read and that is Jake Taylor...damn but he is HOT!!! All in all not a bad read and really deserves 3.5 stars.
