I found this book to be painfully boring. It’s basically a rinse-wash-repeat of Michael and Emma running, getting caught, and getting out of it interspersed with background character details that were a snoozefest, in my opinion. Nothing much actually happened. It also included my least favorite feature of an
awkward and unnecessary romance
being shoehorned in, which I feel like really highlighted how little else this book had going on.
