I could just be lazy and copy and paste my exact review from book, 1 but then that would be stooping to the same level as this author.

All three of the books in this series are bundled into one title in my library, so it’s especially bizarre to just completely rewrite the exact same plots immediately in the sequel: A single parent insta love with an evil ex that has a “crazy coincidence, #tragicpast connection to the new love interest and in both books the MCs get serious before they ever once mention their ex’s names which send the love interest running scared from the relationship. I just can’t.

Also if the characters talked about “ hope” cliches one more god damned time I was going to scream. I mean it was definitely a placeholder for godly faith stuff (and I prefer the excessive HOPEing to that) but Jesus Christ, the FMC’s NAME was Hope so it was 1000% too cutesy and on the nose every damn time.
