Look. I tried. I really did. The last of the 49 bingo reading prompts from last year was the longest book on my tbr, I had filled out every single other one, I'd done my absolute best - but this book bested me. I wanted to like it, I really did, I got 300 pages in, but my hatred just grew with every page I forced myself to read. It's just not my taste at all - the entire book is about glorifying the royalty, and that's just not something I'm a fan of, and since this was what drive every single character and every single POV it just got to the point where I couldn't read any more. There's a lot more I could say, but honestly I don't even want to think about this book any longer. Begone.
