Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.

The narrator was terrible—stodgy, terrible voices, dry and aged. The story felt cloying in its straightness and coldness and predictability. I was honestly so sad that I didn't like it, since I love Valente's Fairyland books so much, but I slid off of this like jam dripping off a knife.
