Wow, I do not know how to rate and review this. I understand that this is YA and I am decidedly not in that age category, but hey, I review mostly for myself anyway, so here we go.
This was really really bad. I hated how the fun quirky Lara-Jean turned into a damn spineless lovesick fool, so insecure that she was afraid to breath near the cutest boy in school that had (in all his amazingness) decided to grace her with his affections. It was horrendous.
Same with Peter, he went from a fun boy that would do anything for his girl to this immature, completely emotionally stunted teenage boy, which I suppose is exactly what he is, so Han sure got that right.
Their whole relationship in this book was just such an ick!!!! They should definitely break up and grow up and find different partners!
Side characters were also horrible, Margo just kept getting bitchier and bitchier!
For the first time in my life I will say, the movie was better.
