A Demon and His Witch by Eve Langlais

2.0

This was a funny quick read even if at times the sexual innuendos and overtones got to be a bit much. Because no doubt sex is what drives this book and that is not say it is a bad thing or it makes it a bad book. Just know going in that it is the sexual banter and tension back and forth between Remy and Ysabel that eventually blossoms into a romance of sorts (because there is also the whole Hell factor and that it is a witch and a demon). At times I wish there was more of a background to all the characters instead of the (pardon the pun) driving sexual nature of it all. Plus the confrontation was (again pardon the pun) very anti-climatic.

I did enjoy it don't get me wrong it just left me wanting more in terms of background, the development of the love between the two characters (because there was never a doubt of the attraction), and the final showdown. Although it could be thought of by the time it did happen it was no longer a big thing because Ysabel no longer really cared about the man who had once betrayed her. ^_^

A quick weekend read for when you want to stay in PJs, eat junk food, and veg all day!
